Consulting, Architecture, and Envisioning

“Get the Point of SharePoint”
A successful SharePoint deployment requires that the intended uses, projected lifetime, and operational constraints of the system are known upfront. Our initial lifecycle services are focused on providing an environment where this information can be gathered, consensus is built, and an approach is defined, along with a working blueprint, for the implementation of the SharePoint platform.
This is often thought of as obvious, but this part of an implementation is missed or not done appropriately more times than not from what we’ve seen from other implementations we’ve rectified. A little common sense and pragmatism upfront will save potentially thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours dealing with a system that is poorly designed, isn’t scalable, and is too difficult to maintain that users abandon it.
Our initial consulting is architecture focused – meaning that our goal is to develop a comprehensive blueprint for your usage of SharePoint from Day 1 to the end of its life. It is this intended usage that drives the features and functionality – and sizing metrics, ramifications on licensing, growth capabilities over time, contingency planning and more, which are necessary components of initial planning.
We have successfully planned over twenty SharePoint deployments in the last three years. Please contact us to see how you can “get the point of SharePoint”
