Reporting with Microsoft CRM

Getting information out of your CRM system is a critical aspect and Microsoft CRM provides excellent access to data stored in the system. Microsoft CRM offers an advanced find tool to allow users to create their own reports and gather key data. In addition, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, offers over twenty out of the box reports to help you evaluate sales, marketing and service performance. The canned reports are built using Microsoft SQL Reporting Services and thus the report output can not only be printed but displayed via a host of methods using .NET technologies. Microsoft Dynamics CRM will track employee performance, target sales problems, assist in forecasting future sales, and provide tools for better customer satisfaction.

With Microsoft CRM:

· Reports can be built to allow for multiple filters to be applied, reducing the need for you to publish multiple versions of the same report when run with different variables.

· Security that is defined within Microsoft Dynamics CRM will also be applied when reports are run, preventing sensitive information from being displayed or exported when you are generating reports.

· The advanced find feature within Microsoft CRM will allow you to search across any record type and any combination of fields found within those records.

· Queries that you build based upon your reporting requirements can be stored within Microsoft Dynamics CRM and shared with any users you desire.

· Queries can be exported to Excel and shared with non-CRM users. In addition, these queries can be set to dynamically update providing users with real-time data.
